The weather at Deception Island was pretty bad, bad enough that launching the Zodiacs for the afternoon landing was too dangerous.
The forward outboard/starboard portion of cabin 321, located on the starboard side of deck 3 aft. The cabin is roughly 14' 12" (4.5m) by 10' 14" (3.3m), or 156 sq. feet (14.6 sq. meters). The pair of doors on the left have a closet behind each door. Storage space was tight, which is why you see camera bags on the floor.
The stern outboard/starboard portion of cabin 321. We stored a lot of stuff under this bed. The small shelf under the window (the "desk") held a few things, but because of the danger of stuff falling off we had to be careful what we placed there. A second upper bunk is stowed against the wall.
